Spring is in the air and in your pint glass. Due South Brewing Company, a Boynton Beach, Florida based production brewery, is releasing Honey Vanilla Wheat on May 4th starting at 3 p.m.
Honey Vanilla Wheat is an American-style wheat ale brewed with 100 pounds of local Palmetto honey from Palm Beach Creamed Honey and finished with vanilla. These ingredients create an effortlessly enjoyable brew with a clean brightness from honey, pillowy mouthfeel from wheat, and a subtle sweetness from vanilla.
Palm Beach Creamed Honey owners Al and Sierra are a beekeeping duo who are dedicated to their bees and creating wholesome, natural and delicious creamed honey products. They source honey and ingredients from personally trusted beekeepers who are committed to responsible and ethical beekeeping practices.
“This beer is a favorite of our locals,” says Doug Fairall, Brand Marketing Manager at Due South Brewing Company. “Whenever we brew this special beer, we source honey made by bees in South Florida. The result is not only better from a flavor perspective, creating a unique terroir with ingredients, but also from an environmental and economic perspective. We’re not shipping honey from out of state and eating up all that fuel, and we’re also supporting another local business.”
Honey Vanilla Wheat will be available both on draft and in 12 ounce cans as a four pack through the Due South Brewing taproom. The beer will head to distribution through Brown Distributing in South Florida and Sunshine State Distributing in Central Florida.
