We want to express a sincere thank you to the hundreds of people who attended Due South Brewing Co.’s Oktoberfest last week.
Due South tapped its first casks ever, three days in a row, as well as released two beers in bottles, the Isle of MaGourdo Pumpkin Ale and Category 5 Imperial IPA. There are just a few bottles left which you can only buy in the brewery taproom.
Big thanks also go to the local food trucks who were at the brewery serving up their delicious menus … Lucille’s on Wheels, the Loaded Burger, Bella Cucina, and the Dough Bro’s Gourmet Pretzels.
This was a true celebration of local beer and food, but it was also for a good cause. Warm Hearts Pet Rescue raised hundreds of dollars in Saturday’s silent auction to spend on dozens of animals who are right down the street from the brewery waiting to get adopted by a loving family.
It was a fun-filled, memorable event. Let’s all do it again soon. Prost!
