Dry Hopped Series Pale Ale Debuts

At Due South Brewing, you may have noticed over the years that we have quite an affinity for hops. A generous portion of our constantly rotating taproom menu is always dedicated to several variations of hop-forward styles. Our popular Category IPA series has been a mainstay since we opened, even earning us a Gold Medal in the Best Florida Beer Competition for Category 5 Imperial IPA. While we strive to maintain a very diverse tap list in order to accommodate craft beer fans of all tastes and varieties, we also like to adhere to the old adage of “Brew what you like to drink”, and we sure do like our hops.

From low-ABV session IPAs to boozy, palate-punching triple IPAs, we’re never afraid to experiment and bring our next hoppy creation to you. And for that reason, we’re excited to announce our new Dry Hopped Pale Ale Series. Bi-monthly we will introduce a new variation on our pale ale, each dry-hopped with a single hop variety. Our first in the series debuting this week is dry-hopped with Citra, an incredibly popular hop variety known for its tropical, citrusy aroma. At 5.1% ABV, you’ll find it to be easy-drinking with just the right amount of hoppiness along with those familiar citrus notes perfect for South Florida drinking. We know you’ll enjoy the Citra dry hop, so just wait until you see what we have in store for the upcoming versions! The Dry Hopped Pale Ale Series will be available on draft in our tasting room and also to go in 6-pack cans and kegs for your kegerator. The can label will always be the same, so the only way to know which dry hop you’re getting is to look under the can.
